Postdoc Zellzyklus und Ubiquitin-Signaling in Strassburg

Two postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Izabela Sumara at the IGBMC in Strasbourg.

The interest of the lab is to understand molecular mechanismsm of cell cycle. Our research aims to dissect the role of ubiquitin signaling during mammalian cell division. Applicants should hold a PhD in biology, biochemistry or related areas. Experience in cell culture and live cell imaging would be an advantage.

current project aims to develop a novel and objective way to assess neuropathic pain in patients with neuropathy and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

Applicants should have completed HLO (for Dutch applicants) or a bachelors degree (international) in any of the biomedical sciences. Experience with animal research.

Bioinformatiker in Paris am Curie-Institut

A 2-years Bioinformatics Data Analyst position is available in the INSERM U830 (Olivier Delattre) & U900 (Emmanuel Barillot) laboratories at the Institut Curie.

The mission will consist in the biostatistical and bioinformatic analysis of tiling array CGH data and deep sequencing of breast tumors, with a focus on genes normally involved in the development and differentiation of the mammary gland. The candidate will be in charge of identifying point mutations as well as structural rearrangements that may drive the oncogenic process. A particular analysis will be made on micropapillary and medullary tumors, two groups of breast cancer with highly specific phenotype.

Doktorarbeiten Krebsforschung in Amsterdam

The Laboratory of Experimental Oncology and Radiobiology (LEXOR) in the Center of Experimental Molecular Medicine at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam invites applications for a total of 3 PhD positions.

The current positions are all part of KWF-funded research aiming to generate and study mouse models for pancreatic, colon and hepatocellular carcinoma. These models will be based on patient-derived material and study interactions between tumor and stromal cells, therapy resistance mechanisms and the
relevance of cancer stem cells. The new positions are closely linked to two senior postdoctoral fellows.

We are offering four year appointments. Salary will be according to the academic hospital CAO.

There is presently an opening for the position of “Computer technician” in the “Electronic and Atomic Protein Modeling”, at the Barcelona Supercomputer Center. Successful applicants will join a new DEAS-ERC grant for the development of the PELE: ‘Protein Energy Landscape Exploration’ program. The job will mainly involve:

Developing a web server for PELE.

Optimizing algorithms and new code (C, C++ and Fortran) in PELE.
